Community Chest 

Community Chest is an IGA initiative to raise funds for contribution to the local community.

Every time you purchase a Community Chest product you are helping to support various organisations, sporting clubs, charities and community groups in Cleveland and surrounding areas. That's because a percentage from each Community Chest product sold is set aside for distribution back into the community.

Next time you are in the store look for the special Community Chest tickets on the shelves to help you identify which products help put something back into our local community. To find out more about how IGA Community chest is benefiting local communities all over Australia click here.

As a family business Meyers IGA is also committed to assisting our community by providing funds and fundraising opportunities to worthwhile causes. Aside form Community Chest the stores may be used as a 'hub' by local not for profit and charitable orgabnisations to raise money.

For example, the Meyer's IGA Group Community BBQ is designed to provide the opportunity for organisations to raise funds by hosting 'sausage sizzles' at the front of the store. The Meyer's IGA Group will provide the venue, BBQ and provide sausages and other provisions at cost price.

Meyers IGA Group are always keen to be involved with local events – if you have a sponsorship proposal we would love to see it please email community@meyersiga.com.au and we'll get back to you. Remember, the more time we have to raise funds for sponsorship, the more we likely we are to be able to help - so give us a much notice as possible!
